My name is Mayra Jaureugi; I'm in my third year as a Creative Media major. Since I was a child, I always wanted to work on creating films; once I started college, it all began. So far, I've mostly just taken the basic classes for film, and my main interest is in screenwriting. Writing and reading have always been enjoyable for me since childhood, although I thought I'd be doing other work for film. I'm still glad with my choice of screenwriting, but I still might try a little of the production aspects of film. I've only completed one short film, but I am currently working on a feature-length screenplay that was inspired by my parents' romance. I just need to continue working toward success and hopefully I can be a successful Creative Media Artist in the film industry in the future.
